Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic Research Institute and Research Department of Al Shifa College signed an MoU for joint research. Vaidyaratnam Managing Director Ashtavaidyan Dr. E. T. Neelakandhan Mooss and Al Shifa College of Pharmacy Academic Mentor Dr. Abdullah Khaleel signed the MoU.
 
Al Shifa College of Pharmacy Principal T. N. K. Suriyaprakash, Vice Principal Professor Junise V, Vaidyaratnam Executive Director Dr. E. T. Krishnan Mooss, Vaidyaratnam Chief General Manager T. N. Neelakantan, and others also participated in the function held at Vaidyaratnam Corporate Office. Students from A.I.M.S.T. University, Malaysia, who came to learn about Ayurvedic manufacturing processes, witnessed the ceremony. Vaidyaratnam R. & D. Head Dr. Sheela Karalam and Al Shifa College of Pharmacy Principal Dr. T. N. K. Suriyaprakash explained the research work activities of Vaidyaratnam and Al Shifa College respectively.
 
Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Research Institute was established with the intention of introducing the heritage of Ayurvedic medicine to the next generation. The MoU will help in revitalizing the field of Ayurveda by implementing collaborative research projects for the promotion of Ayurveda.
