National workshop CHARANA 2024

Vaidyaratnam organized a national workshop titled CHARANA 2024, focusing on the management of common congenital physical deformities in children. The event was ceremoniously inaugurated by Dr. D. Sudhakar, Director of National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthi. Ashtavaidyan Dr. E.T Yadu Narayanan Mooss, Executive Director of Vaidyaratnam Group, addressed the audience, sharing his valuable insights on the topic.

Scientific sessions included discussions on Clubfoot, Knock Knee, and Bow Legs diagnosis and management, led by Dr. Reena Kulkarni, HOD & Professor at the Dept. of Kaumarabbritya, SDM Institute of Ayurveda & Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Lekshmi M. K., Associate Professor at the Dept. of Kaumarabhritya, Govt. Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, presented a session on practical approach to pediatric orthopedic conditions. Prof. Hima Vivekanandan, Head of Dept. Physical Therapy Rehab at Adithya Medical and Rehabilitation Center, provided an overview of physical deformities of the lower leg in children and discussed rehabilitation perspectives.The event drew numerous participants, comprising experts and practitioners in the field of Ayurveda.
