MoU with Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU)

Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Research Institute (VARI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Mannuthy, to enhance quality control and standardization in the Ayurveda industry. The collaboration focuses on standardizing milk and milk products used by the Ayurveda industry, conducting pharmacological studies, exploring ethnoveterinary formulations described in Mriga/Pashu Ayurveda for veterinary diseases, and converting residual matter from Ayurveda formulations into cost-effective products.

The MoU signing was attended by dignitaries, including KVASU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anil K.S, Registrar Prof. Dr. P. Sudheer Babu, Director of Entrepreneurship Prof. Dr. Rajeev T.S, Dean of VKIDFT Prof. Dr. S.N. Rajakumar, Associate Dean of VKIDFT Prof. Dr. A.K. Beena, Head of the Department of Animal Nutrition Prof. Dr. Ally K., Head of the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology Prof. Dr. Nisha A.R, and Officer in Charge of National and International Collaboration Committee Prof. Dr. Anoop S, Dr. M D Pratheesh, Assistant Professor, Dr. Yadu Narayanan Mooss (Executive Director, Vaidyaratnam Group), Dr. Sheela Karalam B (Chief Scientist, Head Technical Services, VARI), Dr. Ashi Augustine (Senior Scientist, Deputy Head R&D, VARI), Dr. Leejo Jose (Head QA QC), and Dr. Jyothish G Nair (Scientist, VARI).This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of Ayurvedic practices and products, benefiting both human and veterinary healthcare.
