Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, hosted an engaging clinical workshop on November 23, 2025, at Ramis Residency in Taliparamba, Kannur, along with members of the AMAI Taliparamba Area Committee.

We were honored to have Dr. Jose T Paikada, MD (Ay) lead the session on “Enhancing the Quality of Clinical Practice Based on Traditional Prayogas from Kerala.” From 9 AM to 1 PM, the hall was filled with thoughtful discussions, useful takeaways, and a shared passion for preserving and applying Kerala’s rich Ayurvedic wisdom.

The workshop covered: - The roots and relevance of laghu prayogas - Traditional plant-based remedies and their therapeutic effects - Clinical insights in dermatology, gastro-hepatic care, respiratory conditions, women’s health, metabolic disorders, and urolithiasis - Insights from samhithas - Evidence-supported herbs and safe practices - Why simple, local Agryoushadhas are still important in today’s clinical setting. It was truly an energizing and memorable gathering that brought together practitioners, students, and Ayurveda enthusiasts committed to nurturing authentic Kerala traditions in modern practice. We appreciate everyone who joined and contributed to making this session meaningful!
