The 1st UTAR Malaysian Conference

In celebration of Ayurveda Day 2024, the 1st UTAR Malaysian Conference on Traditional Medicine was held at the UTAR T&CM Centre, organized in collaboration with the Indian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.

This event gathered leading experts to explore holistic approaches to managing Diabetes Mellitus.Chief Guest Dr. Goh Cheng Soon, Director of the Traditional and Complementary Division at Malaysia's Ministry of Health, delivered a keynote on the significance of traditional medicine in diabetes care. The conference also featured a special address by Ashtavaidyan Dr. E.T Yadu Narayanan Mooss , Executive Director of Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, who shared invaluable insights into holistic diabetes management based on traditional Ayurvedic practices.
